I’m convinced the translators for officials on certain apps love to randomly choose whitewashed names for ppl to pronounce easier. There’s so many Chinese and Korean comics ruined by them simply cause they wanna make names simpler. It’s the fact that the English names are nowhere close to the original names in several comics

Lets not forget the translators work for a company and like any other company they have to follow orders from the higher up, so they most likely had to "translate" their name as well ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ
They really renamed this beautiful chinese inspired character CRISPIN in official TLs. prefer the botched translation now lmfao
