I've read from a previous comment that he doesn't really fall in love with her. He is just your typical cold ML who gets obsessed with the sunshine FL and as the toxic mentality of "if I can't have her nobody else can" "I'd rather kill her than see her with another man". And the FL is too dumb to understand it and just think they're both in love with each other
