I would say both Akane and Arima are the best girls I don't get why fans keep on comparing them when both of them have suffered their fair share of hardships and overcame it with the help of each other both of them are independent women I don't get why people are shipping them with Aqua when two of them can do so much better they can strive higher

But the reason why I called Akane "best girl" is because so far she's the female character that has contributed alot for the storyline as much as I like both of them alongside every single female character in the manga it's no debate that Akane has truly done ALOT for the manga and I really appreciate that about her.
I love the both of them an I also don't like comparing them cause I don't wanna swoop into the level of those who compare two female characters but I'm not comparing them I'm more of observing them and based on my observation I think akane should atleast get some recognition for the things she's done all for the sake of others(*cough* Aqua) and even after they broke up she still continued helping him. After they broke up Akane started supporting AquaKana and we have to atleast appreciate the fact that she gave up her own feelings all because she wants Aqua to end his revenge.
Everyone in Oshi no ko has suffered one way or another whether you try to deny it or not. I'm not trying to compare the characters or be biased about my opinion but there are just times when characaters like Akane, Miyako, Mem-cho, etc. don't get enough recognition.
When people compare Akane and Kana it's like comparing Miyako and Ai which is really unfair.. Both Akane and Kana are actors like how Miyako and Ai are both mothers. People tend to have the habit of getting their biases get the best of them but I don't. I know when a character truly deserves recognition. Although yes, every character deserves recognition, there are just some characters that don't get enough despite literally RISKING or SACRIFICING themselves.

Everyone Ruby is NOT dead. The one being "stabbed" is actually Akane with a wig and dw she has a knife vest(?) to protect herself so no one dies.
