It’s angsty yes, but not in a way that seme is making MC suffer. Those kind of angsty stories with abusive ml SUCK, this does not look like it. Mc is not stupid nor completely helpless now either
Its a different type of angst compared to other series. Its not a romantic drama with miscommunication (the typical trope), the MC suffers tremedously from his past trauma in a very realistic way with flashbacks, panic attacks, numbness and much more ╥﹏╥
