(Although I do acknowledge that any smell, if it is exceptionally strong enough can linger/transfer. But typically I've only known it to be particular situations such as cooking, or farmland, etc...where you've been drenched in the environment for a while)
If you cuddle with someone long enough, their perfume can get stuck on your clothes but just hanging out with any direct contact for long periods won't do anything

I wore a thick aroma parfum at home, not outside, lol weird, anywau, cuddled with my partner who didnt take a bath, nothing of my smell lingers on them lol
I like using pretty bougie perfume/cologne. But that's mostly stuck on my clothes. I've had people enjoy it, or comment on it, but I've never had the scent of my perfume linger on something else, as far as I'm aware.
Bu there's sooo many comics (straight, BL, GL etc) where sometimes the charas can smell someone else's scent on their partner and I'm sitting here at 2am in the morning wondering if that's really a thing; or these charas are just dogs reincarnated into possessive lovers.
