i get the first point but embarassed his son? The dude set his son up to become the most powerful dude in the country and she un did all that AND had him kicked out of school. Even in real life nobles have done too much over much less.
Plus he was under the influence of someone else. Logically I'm sure he would have stopped once he learned that she was protected.
First, there was conveniently child-size hole for her to sneak in without notice and now we have a grown ass adult that wants to kill her because she embarrassed his son? I'm starting to feel that some of these situations are getting a little too convenient.
