poverty is the cause of unhappy marriage, i think theyd be much happier if they at least have money, but the thing is about Mincheol, he is an asshole who sell his own wife's name to take a loan. i think if it was ONLY unhappy marriage from poverty that caused him to cheat, maybe, its a little different.
I beg to differ....... Even if you are poor but you love someone whole heartedly..... you can fight with anything ....even with poverty........ you will win any situation with the help of your loved ones by your side to support you...... but here Mincheol was greedy from the start..... I don't think he ever loved Haesoo...... because if he had loved her he would have never soldher name ...... he should have supported her more because even if he sell her name she still was with him.......I don't think poverty is problem here.... poverty teaches you to fight anything together....of course it depends how you take it. So I don't think it would have make any difference if they have had money. because you can change your situation but you can't change someone's core nature and that was his nature.
that quote is so interesting to me because if mincheol and haesoo were in a better situation where they could afford to have a family and live in a nice apartment, would mincheol still love haesoo? would they still be married or would he be the same and still find an excuse to cheat?
