I noticed this with one other manhwa I was reading. The official one had the maid calling the MC by her name, while the fan translations just said 'you idiot'.
We find out in later chapters that MC doesn't even have a name yet(plot reasons). Her name is revealed in chap 10 or so
Official translators don't even bother, they are just barely above MTL
It’s kinda weird. In chapter 4 there is this scene in which a white-haired man comes to meet her, about her appointment as a tutor. Now, in the official one it is translated that “even the grand duke who never cared, came to see me upon seeing the royal decree” or sth along the lines, not a direct quotation. And in the fan translation it was said that it was the butler who came to see her to inquire about her appointment. I thought it was a weird mistake to make but okay. But then, in ch6 the duke is wondering why she’s not around recently, and it seems like it’s his first time hearing that she left for the imperial palace? So it seems that fan translators were right after all lol. The official translator accidentally translated “butler” as “grand duke” huh
Lmao I usually don’t read translations comparing them back to back btw I’m just re-reading it and I was trying to decide whether I want to read the official translation or stick to the one I was used to.
