Realistically, you don't get raped then immediately fall in love nor do you allow the other person to come into contact with you and MC is an adult more than capable to file a charge against his rapist. It's disgusting how people get off on these kinds of stories. "It's just a manga!! It's just fantasy, it's not harming anyone!!" Rape is very much a real thing that happens every day, and just because it's not harming anyone physically doesn't mean it's not harming people mentally, especially if it's rape survivors. Seek serious help if you wish to be a victim or get off the thought of rape at all.

I thank people like you for hating on fiction like to have some deranged people the wake up call when others might get out of hand. But it's still a crazy conclusion to say someone and generalise everyone who "enjoyed" reading this wants to be a victim of rape. Maybe it's time to adjust your views a bit as well and as you've said and heard numerous times, it is just a work of fiction. Just like enjoying reading murder/horror themed stories doesn't mean you want to get murdered or become a murderer yourself. I think it's better to look from a different perspective that not all who read stories like this is wants this to be done to them. Fiction exists for a reason to escape reality and fantasize. It's also a form of guilty pleasure. If you want to know more, humans actually feel a sense of thrill and a form of excitement when touching on something that's taboo. Thus, fiction exists as a form of outlet. Plus, no one is a saint in this world.

Although, let's say it does affect one's view and how they see things but in the end of the day, that person is responsible for their own actions if they were to translate such disgusting acts in real life, then that's the time for that kind of person to be monitored and be alarmed about and have them seek therapy or when it's becoming in an unhealthy level of consumption.

Let's not generalise that the readers want to be assaulted and raped. And it's not that I want to invalidate actual rape victims, but we're talking about fiction here. Fiction. A setting where many fucked up stuff are romanticized. I will never support such things done in reality, I'd rather kms.

That's why one should be careful of what media they consume. If it's something you dislike and gives you triggers, don't read it. But if you're curious and still ended up reading it and you've been traumatized, then please seek help (not in a condescending tone, this is a concerned tone). It's better to look after yourself and read stories that actually makes you comfortable and will not generate awful memories.

Also, my main point is only valid when works like this are written purely from fiction and NOT based on real life people or an actual event that has been romanticized. That's just beyond horrendous.

Hello! I'm thankful for you to bring this to my attention once more for me to respond to you, but, never once have I said everyone who enjoyed this wants to be sexually assaulted, and I am truly sorry if it did come off like that.

When I said "enjoyed" I meant in a sexual way(pleasure feel). I take full responsibility for not making that more clear, causing you the need to respond and fix my sentence.

Your opinion is 100% valid but so is mine and that is okay, I've never said EVERYONE who enjoyed this and used this type of fiction to escape from reality in the wrong, only the one's who used this to get off. I'm very sorry I didn't make it anymore clear and I really should have.

And based on real life events or not I choose not to support this type of fiction. I as well do not support murder either but rape and murder is way different from each other and you can't deny that. yes, both are considered "torture" but still are way different events that happen. And I don't get off murder, I was trying to say people who get off rape in my original comment needs help, not people who use this fiction to run away from their reality.

Thank you once more and have a lovely day!:)

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. And it's also okay for you to not like this. There's nothing wrong with that. I get your point and that's right. Hopefully you also have a lovely day!
