Praying they switch. I might cry if it actually happens. It would be so so perfect for the story telling too, Jake finally opening up emotionally and in other ways bringing them closer together. It’s right there! I feel like it’s not super duper unlikely even though it practically never happens in BL. Shutline has that vibe that the author could look beyond stereotypical rigidity of roles.
