I agree he would be a love interest and mc would seek forgiveness but I think without revenge he wouldn't have a plausible reason to transfer into a school known for it's delinquency. Esp since he was preciously transferred away due to bullying.
I imagine he would initially go after mc under the guise of mending their relationship which leads to him feeling conflicted after recognising mc's remorse/growth solidifying his role as the 3rd ML.

You got a point, maybe you're right about the third rival being a sadist too hahaha, the other two are already opposites, and another opposite would be kinda funny, we have the one who tries to be impassive and cold (failing), the one who bullies his crush "I don't know why I do this" and then proceeds to save a cigarette given to him by Iltak a year before

I have had this theory since I found out that Iltak bullied a boy, if we are actually wrong I would be disappointed honestly, but I am 100% sure of it

I hope we're right that poor boy deserves closure from what mc put him thru!
