You fail by not trying

It's always difficult to cross a road that few or no one has taken before. We all face this in our daily lives, even I choose the practical or a sure thing, eventually lose my passion for the things I used to love. But I'm taking baby steps in trying to rekindle those passions. It is never easy to balance things, as there are responsibilities in life. Those who bet everything on what they love either succeed in reaching the top of their career or fall into severe depression when they realize they have hit a dead end and they lost to much they no longer can't get up (no alternative)

That's extremely well said. As a person who is following what they love I believe there should always be an alternative, a path for when we get stuck in a deep corner. What the grandpa said was not wrong but it was too harsh and pessimistic. However, those words coming from an elder who would have had to lose all his dreams at a young age and be responsible for the wellfare all of his people his worries are understandable

That's right! The advice from an older person often comes from their own tough experiences. While it might seem harsh, it's rooted in their reality. It's important to assess the results before accepting it, but even if it bears fruit, it can still be challenging for adults or the elderly to adjust and step out of their comfort zones.
