Let's hope that the author gives him a good character ark other than falling in love. I wish to see him grow and repent. I'm sure our MC would be the one to trigger the change. But I hope that the change isn't only with regards to her but also with regards to all other people too.
For some reason, I think it's because he died young and suddenly resurrected as an adult, have no memory of growing and have no proper knowledge regarding "people" and "human" in general, he probanly doesn't know much about emotion too as he was psychologically ill since young due to the massacre incident and the tortures he received. In his eyes Hidelgard is evil, even the servant is evil since they work for the that damn old man, he never even in slightest bit thinking that there's innocent people inside, even if it was a coachman or a courier, as long as they work for Hildegard, they're no less than evil. That's why he keep saying that no matter what Lila's circumstances, she is still the daughter of the man who killed his family, he kill her continuously. So far, there's two assumptions he had:
1. This is his divine punishment for seek revenge (I mean he is the descendant of God and should have been pure but he seek revenge).
2. Lila trying to seek revenge and make him repeated his hell life remembering his family's death over and over again.
That two alone explained why he never feel sorry for Lila in his previous life, even when she was sick or when she was beaten by her husband. There's some "pity" thought, but he discharged it right away due to his deep hatred towards Hildegard.
Ugh something abt the ml just irks me. Like i feel like he doesnt realize what he rlly did to the fl, cause killing innocent is wrong yk?
Like i do get that its revenge and hes going a little crazy but i hope that every single problem they both have isnt solved by falling in love
