Same, actually don't care if someone is better than you sure someone might be talented, but even talented people NEED Practice. It isn't a matter of mere perfection, the 'walls' at times look tall; how to pass, dodge unnecessary ones or breaking through them matters. One's own ability matters, we are sooo used to the concept of success that one failure feels like a stain. Best example, school/ college grades not many people ask, how they are faring NOW (if the person is an adult) in their jobs.
