Nope! If you recall the chapter where it was explained that when Navier and Sovieshu were kids they ate some cookies that were meant to make the eater infertile. Sovieshu always assumed that Navier was the infertile one, but it's actually him. Although, they both could have been infertile, but maybe something was done to Navier by Heinry to heal her, or I'm not remembering correctly... It's anyone's guess.
major spoiler
Navier is indeed infertile
Heinrey and the bed healed her and as the result of thet, she's gonna be a ice mage cause Heinrey shared his magic to her.
the baby is actually Sovieshit's child.
Duke Ergi manipulated the paternity test and used Trashta's son' blood to make it seem like the two kids have the same father.
the timeline and all the context clues explained it
Trashta is evil, but she has been loyal to the emperor in that matter, and she doesn't has a chance to meet with her first baby daddy due to;
- she was always anxious that he would reveal her slave origin
- guilt looking at her first child
- the baby daddy's father was paid to keep him away from her (at the time of conception)
- baby daddy has no one to rely to when it comes to taking care of his son because everyone knows that that's a slave's child. So he was always with the child, inside their mansion.
- even the baby daddy was shock when the paternity test said that he was the father, and he vehemently denied sharing a bed with Trashta after she left.
- Trashta, on her last dying moments never thought that Glorym was anybody's, besides the emperor, child. All she think about was how everybody was lying and unfair to her.
- Why would the author add, again and again, that the paternity test is faulty and can be manipulated if it's not going to be manipulated and faulty?
again, context clues.
if Glorym wasn't Sovieshit's child, then all the yapping and facts about this area was nonsense and a waste of Duke Ergi's back story and efforts.
i thought that was straightforward?
all your arguments are just about a paternity test, which is famous for being unreliable and the fact that Sovieshit also ate the cookies, which he told his mother, the person who planned that cookie scheme, about it early on and the Eastern empire has the most mages in the continent.
What's not clicking?
they are living in the world of magic?
with how Sovieshit fuss around the child, of course she'll turn out to be a healthy baby.
there's nothing suspicious around that scene, no hidden double meaning words, no doctor's additional comments regarding Glorym, unlike how the paternity test was described or how Sovieshit lies the fact that Trashta was his mistress right in front of Navier's face.
Again please read the context clues, the author is pretty obvious about this.
they make the scene extra gloomy whenever they want to emphasize a scene.
Plus, the one who announced that the child is premature was from Sovieshit's side.
There's no extra character from Trashta's side to prevent it because there's no need. She is that confident, even on her dying days.
the clues that you're talking about are disproven by the other facts.
this is not a forgotten plot twist of the story, it is clear and definitive.
i i said, you should just wait and see Trashta's reactions till her death and Duke Ergi's back story cause that will show you why he go through that length for his revenge.
He wants the Eastern imperial family to be gone.
Duke Ergi is the important character here.
He's not like Heinrey who wants to conquer, He's only focus was to messed up with the Eastern royals.
He wants Glorym to die from her own father's hands, then mess up with Sovieshit after.
if you keep thinking like you do, the question 'Why did Duke Ergi did that?' will never be answered.
it's not out of greediness or to conquer, cause when Heinrey told him to cancel their war plans, he agreed easily (cause he's already messing up with Sovieshit)
Plus he didn't even care his position on his hometown (the current duke always berate him because of it).
He just want a small port, which is a significant to his plans.
He knew that Sovieshit will love the child due to his father's instinct. That's why it's part of the story to make the paternity test to be so faulty, so that the lingering instinct of Sovieshit for Glorym will intensified.
Glorym is not just an heir in Sovieshit's eyes. We can see that by how he placed her portrait besides his and Navier's. That's why Trashta is mad because they looked like a family.
Can someone please give me spoilers about who is the father of rashta'child and what happened to emperor sovieshu in the end.....please please
