the emperor is great. a little rough around the edges but he truly cares for his adoptive daughter and her mother. gave her land, enforced her title whenever he gets a chance. always lets her play in his office etc
reasons to like the emperor is because he’s the character trope of nonhuman learns human emotion, especially from lyrica as he gains a sense of parental affection towards her which is new to him, hence is slow and awkward as first but he learns he generally cares for lyrica and will get protect her as well as get upset on her behalf. the mother is a harder character to like but if you want to give characters a second chance you might wanna give it to her. she used her second chance at life to try and make her only daughter’s life as good as possible using her knowledge and quick thinking. her guilt towards how she treated lyrica in the past sometimes takes priority away from actually giving lyrica what she actually wants, which is just to be by her mothers side. however if you see it from the mom’s perspective, she’s doing what she thinks will make lyrica happy, which the thought counts ig. idk im gonna try to give the mom some more grace cause manhwa dads have done way worse things than her and somehow they get forgiven but she’s called an evil bitch who can’t change her ways? anyway that’s my reasoning at least sorry for the word vomit
100% agree on the mother's part. If this was about typical manhwa dads, they will be forgiven easily but when if it's a mom ( a woman) they against and hate it) so thank you for saying it
I kinda don't like the emperor. l don't know why TT Can someone tell me the likeable side of him, pls. Oh and the mother too I can't come up with the feeling to like them BUT I still want to continue the story. so I want to clear my bad feeling about this!
