Aww man I’m sorry about that. I know it’s easier said than done but try not to beat yourself up over it too hard. I definitely understand the frustration though, I was on the Dean’s lists for two years and then I had one rough semester and lost that spot and it definitely hurts. It definitely doesn’t make you a loser though! Academic scores aren’t necessarily the best judge of intelligence, there are so many factors that play into grades and test scores, standardized tests themselves aren’t always the best indicators of intelligence either according to a lot of psychologists! Just know that even if you didn’t make it on the Dean’s list, you still got high enough scores to be close! That’s still amazing!!
Thank you so much. I was really wanted the vice canselor award after 5 semester of college . The award you got after you got dean’s lists for each semester. Now i missed one there is no hope anymore. I tries to not think too much but… you know the pressure of growing up in asian households with typical asian mum.

Today is the day my current semester result came out and I was 0.1 point away from getting the Dean list. The first thing my mom told me was… how come my result is dropping compared to the last semesters? Usually i told my dad first cause instead of complaining he will comfort me first but what a luck that my father isn’t home at the moment.
And now I’m depressed. Not wanting to do anything. Don’t want to eat or getting out of bed.
