nope his feelings are genuine, he doesn't view Penelope as a sister but as a woman, hence him getting jealous & his love metre decreasing when Penelope refers to him as "brother".
i worded it wrong lol, i meant that his romantic feelings for her have nothing to do with him being controlled, meaning what you said. so thats why i hate his disgusting ass lol
