I was enjoying it so well but like idk. There are a lot of issues in this. This is my opinion so I have 0 interest in arguing with people in comments. First of all the Mc. I am sorry but genuinely I can't see him being a strong person. Not mentally neither physically. And I really really expected him to be strong mentally at the least. There is no way he lets the ML get away the worst of the worst things. I feel like MC character is so bland? I would have preferred it if he was as crazy as the ML. But honestly mc is okay. The main issue is the ML. Wtf is that??? I get red flags and I love red flags but his character is so fucking flat and he gets 0 development. Apparently everything has to go along his ways. And oh he has to force our mc rather than respect his boundaries. I honestly am so disappointed in the story that I can't even articulate it into words lmao. The smut felt so forced I hated it. Drawn so well but just ugh. The chemistry also felt kinda non existent? I feel like MC just fell for ML because bro is hot lmao. Whatever I honestly was expecting the MCs friends to get a story. They had literally more chemistry than these two oh well. Main point being- disappointing story and characters. I genuinely got tired reading of this mid way but I had to complete it to be able to judge it fairly. Although I can't even finish the last two sides because it's just going to be sex and genuinely no thanks. I have had enough

Honestly yeah. I used to love at the end of the road years ago but I dared to read it a bit recently and i honestly could not get into it at all. So yeah I feel it's a common issue in this author's writing

Yes I hate how everything goes the Sehyuk's way. This story has a similar vibe to the author's previous work "At the End of the Road." Everything always has to go the seme's way NO MATTER WHAT. And if the uke gets the seme mad or just doesn't agree to what he wants, the seme will, imo, emotionally abuse the uke. Like the seme in both stories just dip, leaving the uke confused/mad ofc, and when the uke finally confronts the seme, the seme's like "Ah yes, this was my plan all along." Like atp, the semes just see the ukes as a little pet they're trying to train.

Side story 12 of "Mad Dog" actually got me pissed off bc Sehyuk was actually so upset that Hamin got mad at HIM for taking HAMIN'S stuff and basically forcing Hamin to move in with him WITHOUT EVEN TALKING TO HAMIN. Ofc Hamin would get pissed! Then Sehyuk has the audacity to say that he would "never" intentionally put his lover in danger, BUT HE DID. This mf pissed off the other gang ON PURPOSE so they would go after Hamin, which would FORCE Hamin to move in Sehyuk!! Tbh, I can't even find this funny. Like OMG I don't care how strong u are, U put UR LOVER in danger bc Hamin just wanted u to communicate with him!! Hamin even said to just ask him for "affirmation" and Hamin would just tell him how much he loves Sehyuk LIKE HE DID AT THE END. Sehyuk just needs to SPEAK UP instead of purposely annoying Hamin and making it seem like it's all Hamin's fault.

Same. I like the uke more in that story, but after rereading it a while ago I couldn't stand the story or even the seme. I don't like how the story basically puts the blame on the uke. Like yea, the uke isn't rlly the smartest, but his feelings and actions are reasonable towards the seme, but ofc the seme is "in the right" after all and the uke apologizes even tho he was being completely reasonable

yeah I feel like the author loves abusive maximum relationships because the power dynamics for both pairs are insanely skewed. sehyuk is the one barrier between actual bodily harm/death for hamin and at the end of the road's seme is the one reason why use isn't shanked by the white haired freak. it didn't matter that uke is strong as fuck, because actually white hair could overpower him he just didn't because surprise(!) seme was manipulating him all along. ultimately their defiance and powerful personalities for hamin and the end of the road uke didn't matter at all it was just made to seem fun so that both semes can suppress their wills. it's just so fruitless for both and the way it was all dragged out for hamin here was worse.

like at least end of the road had a bit of plot and the surprises. here it's just the retcon obessession and the same thing happening every chapter for 50 chapters.

Omg yes! That explains the author's way of writing semes and ukes perfectly. The ukes are written as "strong" and kinda "dominate" but ultimately the semes are the ones who are actually in power in their relationship. And I hate how right u are in that the seme in "At the End of the Road" could've just dealt with the white hair dude EASILY but didn't.
