I was just thinking the same, well with the bff being toxic as shit. I hated reading it in the beginning and the mid point it was sorta okay… but then it just kept on dragging. I feel like the main plot has been solved but they just wanna drag this with pointless drama. It’s kinda boring, unless you mindlessly scroll through idk

Dragging a story out simply by creating unnecessary drama has been a cliche tactic of lazy writers or publishers demanding it because they think it sells. For decades now. And it's always obnoxious.
Sure, as a mindless teen just sucking up the dirty dish water like a sponge probably makes this stuff absolutely amazing and interesting, but if you're been around this kinda content for a few years it simply annoys you. And it's just overall not good writing or likable behavior of the characters. But I guess people who can identify with this sorta behavior will absolutely love it and be fully on the girls' side. But oh well. (〜￣△￣)〜
All in all it's disappointing they went for this type of writing. Especially since there were plenty options for dragging the plot. I wish authors would be a bit more creative.
Both the MC AND her friend are the types of women I completely LOATHE and they are also the reason I barely read any hetero stories nowadays.
I know that the author just randomly wants to create drama, that is painfully obvious, but at least pRETEND you are trying to give it reason other than: My friend said so, so it MUST be true! (For the MC, at least.)
The friend herself is also quite toxic and I really do not like that both her and the MC just think something, immediately treat their ASSUMPTIONS as reality and then proceed to get prissy/sad over said assumptions all while not opening their mouths and saying literally anything.
I really hate characters or irl people who act like this.

I hope things get done and dealt with quickly, drama just for drama's sake has been done better even in 1990 shoujo schoolgirl mangas (and that is just SAD tbh). If this goes on I have wasted so much time on this for it just to end up being a headache and chore. And i honestly do not care about any 'endgame content'. Putting up with these toxic behaviors isn't something I wanna do in my freetime, I got enough of that irl with my mom and brother. XD
