the mc is a man and an alpha, he wanted to be an omega so he can give birth because he doesn't like being tied with an alpha. that's just it.
I think he's following the logic based from other events, it's just not mentioned in the story. There are other ABO stories that tells about Alpha's awakening latent omega gene, or they met a dominant alpha and they mutated due to extreme exposure to the Dom's pheromones. There's the case of enigma too. He might be going for the second one that's why he's going to sleep around.

If an Alpha marries another Alpha and they eventually have children, the birth giver becomes an Omega?
So given by the logic we're given on the introduction of the omegaverse for this story, so it's pointless if you marry a fellow Alpha because they will eventually become an Omega... and being an Omega makes you despised of by Alphas?
