Yeji changed me. She's now my idol. She's correct. Dating shouldn't give you headaches. You don't exist to please, cater, take care, and heal men. She takes things at face value and say things she means. Although she looks like she doesn't care, she's smart and she knows what she needs to do. She knows what she wants very well and she knows how to take care of herself as well as her lover. She doesn't want to make Minjae sad or disappoint him, as well as he doesn't with her.
Everyone looks at Yeji and says she doesn't like clingy and immature men but she clearly has a type; Minjae and the TA are the same coin, but I guess, just the different sides of it. If it weren't for life problems, TA and Yeji would still be together, but that's not the case. Things happened and they ended their relationship. Now she's with Minjae and she's focusing on and fully committed to it. (Never mind her impulsive and thoughtless thoughts, since they were private thoughts she never acted on.) As much as Minjae adjusted for Yeji, she did as well with him.
This is such a refreshing story and take, it feels real and grounded with the real word. All the characters are very dynamic and likeable (althought I was pissed at TA for his antics, I understand him and his a fun addition). Yeji's art also looks like something you'd find in a museum, especially her body.
Anyway!! Glad I read this even with that high 1-star rating. I've been proven a lot of times that the 1-star rating is just when people hate female characters hahaha.
