What's weird is this is just the same genre or type of story as KS, so I think some people who thought KS was "different" (because it's not actually yaoi, being more thriller/psychological than erotica) think this is like KS because it shares thriller/psychological traits. They are both good stories if you like the type. This one is actually more "erotic" and deserving of a yaoi tag in the sense we see a lot of rape and related forced sex play rather than torture and killing.
This started before killing stalking(on lezhin)so the author is not copying.
