It's sort of a reminder for her I think. The face is hers but she's doing this for Emi. She could never forgive them for doing all those things to such a lovely person. They broke Emi and for that, there will be hell to pay. Remi is attending the banquet as Emi to right the wrongs done to her. But, that also means Remi FINALLY gets a chance to destroy that b*tch and co for all the shit they did. She's gonna be doing this for the both of them and I think the broken mirror is a nice imagery of looking at herself and at the girl she's trying to avenge. Broken facets but of the same whole if that makes sense.
I just see it as her being so pissed that she had a physical burst of rage, something she has never resulted to/shown to do before
And the panel where she was stroking her image on the mirror and it flashed to her completely black face from chapter 2 after the engagement got annulled; that was her stroking emi's face reminding herself of the pain Emi was caused by these people
So uhm, in chapter 23, I didn't really fully understand the implications/emotions being shown in the panels w/the broken mirrors.
So, how'd you take it? In your opinion, what was being shown/represented by the broken mirror and change in expressions?
