I don't know about love, but I think they recognized that they were 'it' for each other fairly early on. Jake is hella possessive, and Shin may act all nonchalant, but he does care for Jake as well.
As you said, they might never get all romantic and make bud declaration of love. But I think they both know from right before they have sex for the first time, when Jake come to save Shin. I think it's the moment they both know and they don't need to verbalize it.
what episode do they start have feelings??? like im only chapter 20, but i don’t wanna get invested in it if it take 100+ chapters for them to even recognize they’re in love
