I think he knows but not sure if he knows the puppy is the guy he’s ridiculing at. I will actually be mad if he knew all along because i’m not a fan of trash male leads mentally tormenting or treating mc trash and then falls in love without breathing a single word of apology after hurting him

I don't think the ML is trash; as of now, in the raws with 8 chapters, the story is adorable. And he is caring as well.

He's an alpha wolf and he knew since the beginning that the white puppy is the MC. So he took good care of him and protects him from those who tried to hurt him. The MC though he didn't know his identity and just treated him as a normal puppy, but the guy was actually treating him as a lover and knew all along his identity

The ML actually wasn't really trying to be rude, it just came across that way. When he said it smelled like dog, he meant it like a gentle puppy scent. And he absolutely dotes on the MC, he would do literally anything for him. He knew who the puppy was from the beginning and treated him really well like a lover
