i kinda think her and the prince are working together or something. the prince knows he’s going to die somehow so in order to i guess soften the blow he’s trying to make him believe she’s little pearl

I might be wrong but from the spoilers I've read, I believe that Maximilian really isn't the pearl, but Ariel is. But Maximiliam will help with the rebellion and Jean already fell in love with Maximilian despite him not being the one he searched for.

Well after reading the book myself (though with translator) I take my words back and say that I was wrong, the Prince is definetely is a little pearl.

I read this like a year ago so it's all blurry to me, I think it's because ML was looking for perle and his friend from their rebellion group (well spoiler he secretly works with the prince) told ML that someone found his perle then they introduced him to the girl and the girl pretend to be perle

MC told the girl to pretend as perle cause ML is starting to hesitate in participating in revolution cause ML is falling for MC and suspect MC is perle. Well the girl will tell him after the revolution that she's not perle

Maybe through Academy. Palatine will say later that Ariel was well known for her intelligency and beauty so there were legends of her even after her graduation. And when talking to Jean, Ariel said that her motto (loyalty to Joachim but not to the people in power) was inspired by someone who she respects greatly. I guess she talked about Maximilian.
