She's actually not supposed to be the mistress but the Empress. She was with him first but for some reason he married someone else to be the Empress. He promised MC to be Empress only to end up as Mistress.
our mc is a mistress...not like someone's girl friend, fiancé, or wife but a whole ass mistress meaning that the guy has a whole ass legal wife. I just don't know how to root for a girl who breaks up someone's marriage (and the damn emperor is also in the bad for looking at other people when he's got a wife)...(⊙…⊙ ) I think this one is a pass for me
