Story could’ve gone differently

I wish that maybe the story took a turn where Ashtarte accepts the princes apologies and comes back to the main palace and learns magic from the princes and Amaryllis gets jealous and plans revenge. Ashtarte’s powers aren’t revealed until the prince gets cursed by the illness which words spread like normal and Amaryllis takes actions to revenge like the plot and the priest gives the poison which takes both of them. But instead of Amaryllis dying she survives but almost close to death which then Ashtarte will save her and befriend her instead. At the scene where the high priest stabs the king it’s Amaryllis who steps in to save Ashtarte instead and then with Ashtarte’s power she saves Amaryllis which then turns her into a human while healing her. Maybe Amaryllis will get with Isaiah after she turns human. I just wish that the “prophecy” was more played on and that if Amaryllis died it would cause some sort of havoc in the empire which Ashtarte saves because she saves Amaryllis idk. Also confused on why Ashtarte knows no combat spells??? If she’s read through the books and everything she should be able to use combat spells or defence spells ( shown with cheazel ), but ALL she knows are healing and teleportation spells.
