Not only that, but for the reason she in house arrest is stupid to. "Even though this Daughter of a baron (who may I remind you does not have enough authority nor is she on par on status with a Duke's kid like the mc) claim that you pushed her down the stairs have zero evidence and zero other eye witnesses, we will still use that to out you under house arrest."
And it's so stupid how they think the MC would steal the grimoire, like isn't it known that she thinks it's useless to learn magic if you yourself don't have any. And she didn't have any magic, so why would she steal that? It's not like any of her 'atrocious' crimes were life threatening or in dangering the kingdom, they were just plain annoying and assholey but not dangerous.
I'm ranting now, but I thinks my own who reads this gets my point, the MC and the story is dumb af. But I really the art so I'm not dropping it.

THIS STORY IS SO STUPID "You are a lady and I am a man so don't touch me." THEN HE SLEEPS ON THE SAME BED AS THE MC WHO MAY I REMIND YOU IS A LADY. AND WHO TF ACCEPTS A NECKLACE FROM A STRANGER WITH A CLOAK, AND WHY WOULD YOU TRUST THE BLONDIE SO EASILY?! LIKE YOU'VE KNOWN HER 2 DAYS MAX AND DO YOU REALLY THINK CEDRIC WOULD'VE SPENT SO MUCH TIME WITH YOU IF HE HATED YOU SO MUCH?!
