Nah this is not "psychological" it is simply a one dimensional trash character, whether or not the writer intended for the audience to hate him. Let's have some standards. Too often "pscyhological" is misused to give a sheen of substance to this kind of frankly tacky, tropey writing. This is not even a shallow pool it is a puddle after light rain.

I love how everyone is saying they hate the ML, like YES! That’s the point! He’s written to be a selfish deplorable character, which is why all the other characters around him hate him even after his rebirth. If he was meant to be romanticized then the princess, the crown Prince, and in current life, his secretary wouldn’t constantly be bringing up how terrible he treats MC. He’s not to be seen as a good person, this is a psychological story. He’s exactly how you’d look at Sangwoo. He’s a bad character.
