I disagree. I think we were seeing everything from seongrok pov and as far as he was concerned she didn’t give af anymore but we never got words from her mouth in previous seasons. Last season she even imagined them with a baby so I’d say she definitely wanted them together but she is selfish so she came first before rok. I guess now she’s reflecting

She started wanting him and realized she wanted a future with him after she couldnt have him anymore aka when he betrayed her and became loyal to our mc. Basically she wants what she cant have making him more enticing to her than before

Why and How did the narrative become that she wants the ML as her end game. She didn’t rush to get the ML out of prison and then she starts sleeping with the chief of police and becomes his wife…. If you wanted the ML you could have had him a long time ago…. Your ex husband paid off your debt and with your husband dead you are a free women…. She decided she wanted power and threw the ML to the wolves so where the eff does this lusting and desire for the ML come from you literally married another guy after you had the ML kill your now dead ex husband and you didn’t talk about any ways to get the ML out of prison even the guy who committed the first murder said that the madame was playing the ML….
