i totally understand this. for me when i get like this sometimes it doesnt feel any better until i step away and sit in the sun for 20 minutes because even when i find a good book it just doesnt hit right and i just regret reading it when i dont feel good. i hope you feel better soon and the excitement comes back
I hear you, this year has been tough on me too. It's important you go into the sun indeed to get some vitamin D as the earlier person said (it will help you feel better a bit). Overcomsuption of any kind will abuse your reward system, causing you to be dull. Start slow and try to reward yourself in a healthier way. Kicking off the fog is a hard task, I hear you.
Lately I find myself can't get excited over anything. Everything seems so bland for me. I feel like unmotivated to the point nothing could bring me to be alive. I want some slice of life manga. Please recommend something like that.
