I dont see any happy ending for this at all.. like, eventually the grandpa will still die of old age.. and the snake will die too after leaving his offspring..
then the bottom, left alone with a child will be chased by those shady people he works with, coz they'd prolly find out the snake they were looking for already died, but it left a kid behind.. so now they're after the kid.
I mean.. i can only forsee tragedy.. and they'd probably be reincarnated on a diff timeline where everybody is happy. As if that would mend our hearts after going through the wreck(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
