SHE HEARD HIM talkin shit about her as a child, n as an emotionally neglected kid growin up under immense pressure to reach impossible expectations, hearing that probably decimated her mental health. the way she acts is the result of her environment, and while yeah- it wasn’t great that Zoar kept his “business” a secret from her.. this world is very clearly brutal, and Zoar is trying his best to keep his only solace safe (through murder lol).
