Actually the part about not knowing about caffeine yet drinking coffee is historically accurate. Coffee has been around since the 15th century yet caffeine wasn't discovered until the 1800s. At the time many people used caffeine producing plants as medicine but it was thought to be the plant itself as they hadn't known about the chemical caffeine.
You're telling me they invented an expresso machine already but MC needs to commission the invention of a steamer?? They drink coffee, but don't know about caffeine.
