Yea jinshi (Zuigetsu) doesnt know that the pefo Emperor is nor his father but grand father. We arrive in vol 15 light novel and yang and ah dou didn't tell him yet he is there beloved son. Due of stress they didn't want him to get stressed of the news so they didn't tell him. Also maomao knows ah dou told her. But jinshi suspects he might be . But that all he knows. Even on the most recent web novel chapter no one told him (and frankly, it seems like no one will told him since Ah duo doesn't want Jinshi to become an emperor since it mean he must sacrifice himself for the nations). The main reason why it is hidden is because of how Ah Duo doesn't have a strong political backing and the one who want to back her up (in case her son is still alive) is the current emperor dowager's birth family and they will back him up politically because they want to keep the status quo so Gyokuyou's father faction doesn't gain any more power and Ah Duo doesn't want anything to do with any of that shit
Yes but ah dou doesn't want him due Zuigetsu is a kind hearted man and he goes down level to the common ppl. What is up with that new revelation in the new chapter? We've been led to think that jinshi is a young guy in mid 20s at most, yet in the new chapter in the flashback he's depicted as at least a good 5 years older than that old medic maid who looks 40s-50s and even older than the emperor
