Btw I don't hate Jiho, I just hate what Jiho did that day. Also the fact that as a lover, he seems to be insensitive and passive that he made the other felt insecure the entire time without noticing it.
I still remember that I loved the him that stands up for Inwoo, the him that tried to make a cake that Inwoo liked for him. And all of that. But at that day, he indeed wronged Inwoo and it pissed me off because I could see from Inwoo's side. I'm just a bit pissed, but never hated him
It's not that we hate that Jiho was trying. It was that he was trying to help in a wrong way that didn't consider Inwoo's feeling.
C'mon you guys are saying Jiho didn't deserved to be kissed in public, you think Inwoo deserved to be treated like that...?
Idk why bo one os talking more about this, ifk why the author included the scene but didn't talk about it more but, I really hated the Jiho that gave the flower Inwoo bought for him to his mother. That's so heartless.
"But if Jiho accepted that flower their relationship will be revealed!" Is probably what can be used to defend him, but how would you feel if you are in Inwoo's seat? He actually hold in his disappointment by just staying silent the entire time the flower was handed over to his mother, how Jiho made him met his mother without preparation, and by saying that they are "just friend". Inwoo is mot mad just because of what he did to his mother, Inwoo is mad even at the fact that his boyfriend doesn't want to acknowledge their relationship plus he picked on his weak spot.
Inwoo probably kissed him in public, which I also think not right, because he was so pissed off with a lot of things. He was already insecure in the first place but Jiho made it worse everytime he saw how he didn't want anyone to know of their sexual orientation. He understand fully that Jiho hated it, and most of the time he won't say anything about it, but at that moment, he lost control. He is so mad he acted impulsively.
In the end he apologized to Jiho first waiting for him to come home but Jiho actually stayed at the house of the person that confessed to him?? And even considered his words to try with him??
Those hate Jiho get are not out of nowhere. The reason is there. Inwoo has his own flaws too but Jiho is trying to help in the most unsensitive way. There's nooo waayy he didn't realize how insecure his bf is and how he always say he didn't like his mother. It's not helping if you try to help only thinking of what YOU THINK is the best.
It's like that onw story where the man giving a photos of your travel to his sick lover who cannot leave the hospital because he think "its so she can see the world without going out!" Only to make the lover feel even more envious, and even more aware at the fact that they can never travel the world on his own feet, and suiciding in the end.
It may work for some, but not for all. Think about ur partner.
