I thought it was just gonna be what it started out as, an adorable vampire who acts all big and tough cuz he is supposed to, but really just wants to be dominated in bdsm. I admit I wasn't to fond of the seme at first, I felt he was unnecasirly cruel sometimes, but he got better. But than the whole story turns on it's head and plot twists make it about so much more than where it started. Seriously this was one hell of a ride and absolutely worth reading.
