Okay to be honest Google Translate is doing a wacky job with this one but let me do my best with what I'm pulling out of this. It says that you said it's unreal as long as it's a manhwa, that it's not that complicated, and that I can't tell the difference (between fiction and reality I'm presuming). Yes I do happen to know that this thing is fictional. But, as I said, the messages it sends out and and conversations it creates ARE very real and have real world implications, just like any piece of media. And there are absolutely elements of realism in this Webtoon, even YOU said that there were moments here that you found to be too real to enjoy in this webtoon that "lacks/neglects reason" (as Google Translate has you saying, apparently—which I agree, it does, but not in the way you're saying it does).
Jaekyung himself isn't real, no, but the way that he uses his money, fame, and physical strength to intimidate and force people to do what he wants is VERY REAL and I think it's telling if you don't know/understand that. Have you heard of Elon Musk? Who allegedly propositioned a woman on airport staff with a pony if she'd do sexual things with him? Do you know about Jeffery Epstein? Hell, any major (or minor, look at YouTubers) celebrity? People in Jaekyung's position do what Jaekyung does to people like Dan ALL THE TIME. That is why people are stressing the importance of how you and people like you are responding to this. No one would've taken issue with you if you'd just said you were suspending your disbelief to enjoy the sex or the sillier aspects of the webtoon. But you went out of your way to say that there's no rape in this webtoon and you're STILL not explaining why which especially doesn't make sense since you're willing to acknowledge rape and sexual assault elsewhere. I don't know if you would actually in real life defend a real life rapist or anything, but your inability to recognize/acknowledge what Jaekyung does to Dan as rape, and now also your supposed inability to see the parallels between the other things happening in this webtoon and what can and does happen in real life does not bode well for the answer to that question!

also yeah to further add to this, I didn’t beleive it when people said that people were defending Jaekyung because of mere pretty privilege because it seemed like such a ridiculous argument and also something being said in bad faith but the fact that you referred to Jaekyung as being Dan’s knight in shining armor (or something along those lines)??? and also the idea that you can take some instances of rape in this webtoon seriously but not others because of the character who’s doing it…like several people have brought up the idea of how media like this blurs the lines between what is or isn’t consensual and/or realistic and this type of response is perfectly emblematic of that because what do you mean why on earth would/should Jaekyung receive special pardon for doing the same things (well, frankly, WORSE) to Dan as other people have before? just because he’s attractive? because he’s “supposed” to be the love interest? even the webtoon itself doesn’t fully beat around the bush about the mental, emotional, and physical impact Jaekyung’s assaults have on Dan like usually other media when it tries to do this it softens the blow and doesn’t at all realistically portray or seek to explore how someone might respond in that situation but Dan is almost always actively afraid of getting beaten up or raped by Jaekyung bro BLEEDS OUT HIS ASS the first time are you for real?

Alr v v condensed summary lol: Shiki commented that there's no rape in Jinx, that only children and mentally ill ppl would be affected irl by what they read, that they can differentiate between fiction and reality and that you're not the target audience. Then me and akaito tried to explain y there is rape and y even sane adult ppl can be affected by the media they consume (also bless akaito bc they rlly tried until the v end to have a civil discussion). Shiki continued to deny/misunderstand/misinterpret my points and didn't read what akaito was saying bc they were writing "novels" (shiki's words not mine lol and also akaito's points were v good so if u were gonna read smth u should read their comments). Then other ppl like ridora and seabi started commenting and shiki decided to start insulting them in french (mainly calling them children lmao) rather than answer akaito's q of y they thought there was no rape and then after saying for the 2nd time they'd no longer respond they actually stopped responding.
