Yes!! And he just get more and more unlikable the further into the story you get, not even just because of how he treat Taeui (he's just a shitty guy all around). I feel his character and the story had a lot of potential. It's really a shame honestly.
The way people seem to ignore all these signs just because he is good looking is scary.
The punch and breaking things is such a real thing in toxic relationships. I know it's fiction but I think there should be a line in our brain that tells us that even in fiction this is wrong
I think it's fine if people like it but it's weird when people try to rationalize it or make excuses for him (like love him all you want but at least be REAL about what an awful man you're simping over LOL). I personally can't really see the appeal with a relationship where one person is always being on the losing end and abused tho... They're not even trying to portray it in a way where Taeui even enjoys it. It's so hard to read lol.
Ilay has suuuch a good character design tho (very very attractive imo), it's so wasted on him!! Ugh. People do get blinded by his how hot he looks lmao.

this is becoming increasingly popular esp among korean bl and i hate it (jinx, the pawn's revenge, passion). it gets unnecessary and no one (sensible) enjoys it, plus it takes the quality away from the actual plot. like just give us development already PLEASE
I never understood why Ilay is so popular. Yeah he is hot and I liked the story in the beginning but no matter how many times I come back from time to time, all I see is Assault and Rape.
I know it's a kink of some people but I can't see a punch in the stomach as sexy at all
