I have that marinating it's one of those I'd rather read when completed instead of thinking about it all the time. I'm so tempted to read so many of the ongoing ones like Sweetie, Sunny Days etc.. but I try to control myself cuz in the end I have to re read it again because I forget the plot cuz it's been awhile since it updated.. (⊙…⊙ )
Some are even in hiatus for a year or 2 or just never come back. SO SAD.
The having to reread because you forget the plot is SO real. Every time something comes back from hiatus if i wanna have the BEST experience reading it I gotta go and read all the previous chapters as well... IM SO GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE LMAO
It sucks I'm now in the habit of putting summaries of chapters read on my review comment section since I don't wanna re read again and again but since I read so much the plots gets all mixed up in my head so eventually I still have to re read the whole thing for the best experience like you said.
It's a never ending cycle because there are these annoying things called SEASON END and HIATUS. It's the perfect recipe for RE READ(s)
However I do try to limit my re reading of ongoing title(s) to 3 times max and just wait for completion because there's so many things I can still read but never pay attention to...plus if there's another long hiatus then I'll just waste my time re reading again
Limiting the re reading to 3 times max is so smart honestly! It becomes so hard to focus on the manhwa again when trying to reread the past chapters to fully understand the newest ones... Like sometimes I'll think "nah I already remember 90% of the plot and everything so I'll just read the newest chapters" but then I won't even remember the characters' names when they refer to each other it's kind of an issue...
