Which is why i just wish he never actually remembers the past, cause it kinda honestly feels like he was just going along with Hyo-un in their past life, like Hyo-un kinda just forced the whole relationship. But in their present life, Taehyuk actually feels like he was in love with Hyo-un.
Like what theyre doing isnt wrong in the slightest, it just feels iffy, but past Taehyuk always felt reluctant and bothered by his relationship with Hyo-un. But in the present, he doesnt have any of those shit holding him back from actually loving Hyo-un. Like their present relationship actually feels like both of them are in love and Taehyuk is not humoring Hyo-un and going along with it cause he cant say no to him.
that’s why i didn’t even bother with reading season 2 after seeing the raws early on— but still wish they could’ve maintained that greater maturity difference seen in season 1 at least
Agreed, their present relationship is mutual and healthy (bc Taehyuk has such a healthy mindset I love it.. he can calm Hyo-un down when Hyo-un gets too obsessive). But past relationship was so forced like you said. And actually I am not even sensitive to non-con kind of stuff, I am pretty much numb after years of reading yaoi, but this was just too much!! Maybe because it is assumed here that the reader will like their past relationship even if the other raised the other?? If the story started from the past I wouldn’t have even read it. I like it sm more that Taehyuk cannot remember the past past rn and I would like it if he never will but I highly doubt that
