pls use ur brain and think why would ruby truly trust anyone when everything in her past life and current life have been against her ???? of course she cant just trust anybody shes literally mentally ill!!!! she has an eating disorder and huge self esteem issues!!

well not only in this life, but in her first life she was abused. not to mention she was practically groomed by her brother since she was a child. no matter what she does she’s gonna get punished by the brother. like she literally knows no matter what her brother is gonna whoop her ass for disagreeing with him

why are u calling her dumb?? like she got married off to a random stranger for political purposes who even killed her in her first life? Not to mention that izek wasnt really fond of her in the beginning unfortunately so it takes time and patience to build up trust. I can understand that it may become frustrating.

I don't think you fully understand the psychology behind Ruby's decisions and the fact that hardly anyone was on her side.

I mean the story itself centers around ruby trying to get out of cesares and her families wrath and finding a safe place which means trying to build trust and winning izek over.

Of course it would take time i mean just blurting out her whole lore and life story and cesare psychotic behavior would be just anticlimatic idk?? I like this build up anticipation which makes it even more nerveracking and more exiciting for the truth to be finally revealed

I'm happy for you that you've never experienced anything as traumatic as Ruby, saddened that you don't harbour enough empathy and solidarity to put yourself in her shoes - hopefully you grow wiser!

Regardless of that, the whole point is that Ruby doesn't feel like she DESERVES help/to be happy and doesn't feel like she's in control of anything nor has the choice to make her own decisions based off of what she wants, since she's literally been living under abuse and gotten controlled her whole life. As we've literally been HANDFED, she feels disgusting due to her abuse and self-harm, and is beyond terrified that Isek will change his mind/feel differently if he knows of her secret(s). It's not as simple as "just tell him, you're dumb".

Using someone is not the same as trusting someone. Someone who genuinely loves and cares about you can say all they want that they love and care about you, but it means absolutely nothing of the recipient has been so mentally beaten down by everyone they should trust, that it makes it extremely hard to believe the one person they can trust.
So no we still don't understand why you're frustrated, what we do understand is that you either seem to lack empathy, an understanding of human psychology, you're unable to pick up on context clues, and/or you've lived such a stable
and comfortable/loving life that you have no real way to truly understand the thought process of someone who has gone through hell
