The artist did say something about wanting to adapt the whole novel, but idk if they meant the whole novel series of just the first novel :V idk I'll try to read some twitter replies and let you know if I found anything

I couldn't find it but based on kitano's posts, they don't really mention about not continuing to work on adapting the manga as well, it seems like they are still looking forward to continuing to adapt it especially considering the fact that Kitano is a big nagira you fan lol

I MEANNNNN I can't really blame her for not working on the two other novels because they're much longerrrrr and since we Utsukushii appears in a bimonthly magazine, it'll take her yearrrrs to finish the whole thing

The manga already have four volume and still ongoing in Japan, so maybe she mean that she only have two more chapter and she will finish the whole novel

She was talking about the 1st novel which she'll finish soon, yes. The shortest novel out of 3 needed 4 volumes maybe 5.
Book 2 and 3 would probably need around 7 volumes each. I don't think kitano megumi would be able to manage that amount of work unfortunately...

MAYBE (I'm on my knees begging) she will keep working on it we never know!
