Brother was abusing ruby. The spoilers from the forum iirc says that she's kinda bloodied? Bec she was slammed against the mirror. Izek and the other saw the scene and the pos brother and sister (forgot their names) were shocked. Izek got mad and lunged at ruby's brother but he got away

From what I remember reading in the novel she gets beat pretty bad by the brother and then everybody rushes in and sees her getting beat by the brother and then there's a huge fight
