this is tricky because korea used to have a different way to count a person's age: the day you are born, you're considered to be 1yr old. and every new year in jan1, you add another year.
for ex. if you were born Dec 31, 2023, by Jan 1, 2024 you're already considered 2yrs old even though youre barely a day old ( ̄▽ ̄)
so, Sukjoo could be 17-18 in international age, and Ijin 18-19, which falls in the typical high school senior age bracket☆
anyone know if it’s normal to be over 18 and still in highschool in south korea? just curious. i know sukjoo is 19 but he and yuna were overseas for sometime so it’s possible they decided to retake a year.
ijin just turned 20 and ik his class is the graduating class but none of his friends have mentioned his age. is it because he looks young so no one suspects anything? or is age not noticeable for koreans?
