But still it's not fair that he is the only one kept in the dark. He is jaein's partner after all if their family is in some kind of danger then I think he definitely deserves to at least know about it cuz it can be pretty frustrating to be clueless about the situation.
Yeah, I was just talking about him feeling like he’s useless. I think MC keeps him in the dark because he wants to protect him, it’s not because he has bad intentions. I also see why he does it, not so long ago ML almost died. MC is afraid of putting him in danger again.
I think when he says “I can’t do anything for you” he means that even though he sees his husband worry and he knows his subordinates know what is happening, Jaein still refuses to rely on him. He wants to help him (with his troubles), even if it’s just giving advice ╮(￣▽￣)╭
ML is getting that spoiled wife treatment (jk). He needs to understand that even though there is nothing he can do to help MC with his work or protect them, it’s not that he’s useless. He’s taking care of the baby. They both have their own responsibilities. To me it looks like their past relationship keeps influencing ML and making him feel inferior.
