Well the asshole older brother is going to save the duchess and the white lotus, but they leave our fmc behind thinking she is part of the enemy’s side. Unfortunately her brother and the evil maid beat her black and blue. There are more details but I can’t remember. Despite the ML trying to find her, she never gets saved. I don’t remember how but I think one of the men maybe the guy who asked her how she is connected to the client sees what happens to her and helps her escape, but she is just so broken and mentally done :( that she decides to go and inform someone who she is, so that she can be executed like the rest of her family. She’s just so tired…. I sadly don’t remember what happens, obviously she doesn’t die but I don’t know how she could recover from the intense trauma and no way could that family ever grovel or makeup for what happened to her.
Let me continue. The ML issues search order for her. But she was beaten beyond recognition so no one realises that it's her. She boards the carriage of a kind family to reach someother place the she finds the authorities and surrenders herself. Then her father in law tries to execute her because of her family's crimes. The ML comes and saves her from that. Actually the white lotus is the original autor of the story and keeps the ML and his family in favour of her. She actually killed so many other ladies such as our MC because she likes the white lotus characters. Our MC was different and she excapes her predecessor ending. It's advisable to skip a the next few chapters of you don't link watching the MC get abused physically and assulated. Both the MC and the ML go through alot in the next few chapters. Poor them. It's all because of that while lotus author. After this ordeal they go to their own territory have kids and will live a peaceful life. The white lotus will make a lot of mistakes and will not end well. She gets married to the cliff and then they get divorced because of her issues. He later marries another nice lady and has a good ending. I like that the only one who has the bad end are the MC's family and the white lotus.

I believe there are 134 chapters in total so I would check around chapter 100. I’m guessing but this is a pretty big arc. Novelupdatesforum would be able to help you regarding details and spoilers, but I tried skimming through and couldn’t find the exact chapter
