There are a lot of reasons, so I can’t speak for everyone, but a lot of people including me have said they like it because they’re not included in it, like, idk how to properly explain it, but it’s like you can read it and a third party with ought having your gender put into it.

Another reason is because there is no gender inequality, when it’s a straight romance, lots of females are usually portrayed as weaker or very submissive to men just because they are a woman

Another reason for me is because I find it more interesting and realistic. The story’s, not all, but the ones I usually read are interesting and can show relationships even more realistic than most men and women relationships

I also just like seeing two hot men together, because like, who wouldn’t? lol
